We drove for over 2 hours from Banff to go to the Columbia Icefields to go onto the glaciers. It was my first time being on ice/snow.... |
July 18, 2005....
Vacation always means ice-cream. I am starting to learn this tradition early on...After lunch, we made an hour drive from Calgary to Banff. We eventually made our way to Lake Louise - a beautiful scenic place.

July 17, 2005.... We are off to Calgary/Banff in Canada for a mini-vacation.

July 16, 2005.... I had my 2 year old birthday party today. Most memorable experiences - drinking juice and eating cake...

July 7, 2005....  After 3 weeks of swim class, there's still parts of it where I really dislike.

July 3, 2005....  We celebrated Jasmine Chin's birthday at Lemos Farm in Half Moon Bay. There was a petting zoo but I did not want to get close to the animals.

June 28, 2005.... Today is the last session for my Sports class. I think I did OK. I even got a certificate...

June 16, 2005....  I started swim class today. I hope I'll enjoy it eventually but for now, I don't really like to swim...

May 12, 2005....  We spent the next 2 days at LegoLand. I had so much fun riding the train, playing in the playground and seeing all the different Lego models. We'll need to come again though since I couldn't go on the rides unless I was at least 34 inches tall. We did managed to get on one....

May 11, 2005....  Our first stop was Downtown Disney. We came here a year ago. At that time, I was clueless and bound to a stroller. Now, I can push a stoller and running everywhere...

May 10, 2005....  I started going to a Sports class. There's basketball, hockey, T-ball, and soccer. But most of the time, I'm only interested in running around. At the end of each class, there's a time to do stretches. I like that...After today's class, we are driving down to Southern Cal.

April 24, 2005....  Today was a little bit sad for me and Mommy. We said good-bye to the BMW. We sold it to parents of a 15.5 year old girl who hasn't even gotten her license yet. Wonder if that will happen to me when I get to 16. Ever since I was born, this is the car I've ridden in the most...

April 16, 2005....  What a difference 2 months make. I now want to just jump into the water. I'm going to be a flower girl in July. We tried out the dress today. What do you think?

April 12, 2005....  Mommy took me to Happy Hollow Park and Zoo. We met up with Auntie Winnie and Rachel.

April 7, 2005....  Mommy found us in the shower stall this morning. I was about to turn on the water if Mommy hadn't come in.

We finally got up close to the Rubber Duckie. We always pass by it going on the freeway. Today we visited the Children Discovery Museum with Sophia, Uncle Joseph, and Auntie Jo. I had a blast...

Mommy and Daddy took me to grandparents in a hybrid car. At night, when I was going home with Mommy and Daddy, I again noticed something different. I was sitting in a brand new, bigger automobile.

We went to Allison's birthday party. She's 2 years old.

We stopped by UC Davis today. This is where Mommy and Daddy went for college. Of course, the visit is not complete unless they go eat at Dos Coyotes.

Mommy started taking me to class. I get to play with other kids and to move around more.

We spent some time at the Cupertino library. There are water fountains outside the library. This is my first time seeing these. I got scared and didn't want to go close to them.

It's been tough since returning from Hong Kong. I started having diarrhea.

We checked out Hong Kong WinterFest today. Afterwards, we took the tram up to the Peak.

After dinner tonight, we went out to enjoy the beautiful Hong Kong night sights. There was also a laser light show, but I didn't think too much of it. But afterwards...One of my most favorite places in Hong Kong - Teddy Bear Kingdom.

In the morning, we strolled out around by the hotel. In the afternoon, I went and met my great-grandmother for the first time.

We arrived Christmas night. My first memorable experience was drinking yummy Hong Kong milk in bed!

We are going to Hong Kong!!!! So Excited! And I did very well despite the long flight and one stop-over in Osaka, Japan. I was the star attraction in the plane for all the Japanese girls sitting behind us.

We had an early Christmas get-together since everyone will be out of town for Christmas.

This is the day Mommy and Daddy has been waiting for finally - I started walking all by myself!

I had my flu shot. I was very brave - did not cry at all. FLU: stay away from me!!!!

We went trick-or-treat at the mall. All they were passing out were stickers. It was crowded - not very fun. We don't think we'll do it again next year.

I'm 30.25 inches long and weighs 21 lbs and 3 oz. I'm shorter now than during my 12 months check-up. Somebody made a mistake measuring! I hope I'm not shrinking...

I feel older now cuz I am allowed to eat a slice of honey dew by myself...Auntie Elaine and Uncle Thomas are visiting the Bay Area. They have been working in Shanghai for the past 3 years. The company they work for(SMI) went IPO back in March. Don't forget little Jocelyn when you become millionaires.

We are heading home later today; so, we had to squeeze in one more time in the pool.

Today's highlight was playing in the pool. I was a little apprehensive at first. After awhile, I was having tons of fun.

Today, we drove around the island of Oahu. My favorite part was having pineapple soft serve at the Dole Plantation.

We joined a tour to go to the big Island(Hilo). I had my own seat going there.
I napped really well since I was carried alot. We went to a black sand beach, Rainbow Falls, and the Mauna Loa factory - I slept through all of it. In the afternoon, we spent most of it in a volcanoes park.

September 18, 2004....
First time going to the beach....It ended up to not be an enjoyable experience. Mommy and Daddy didn't know I had pooped hours before and I did not get to nap. As a result, I didn't want to go in the waters at all.

We went to the cemetary in the morning. It was a solemn moment but my cuteness still managed to come through....Went to Makino for dinner. It was a Japanese buffet. Everyone raved about the food. But all I remembered was that I was carried alot throughout dinner. Feeling pampered....

I had to wake up early this morning. We left the house at 8:30a.m. to catch a 10:45a.m. flight from SFO to Hawaii!!!! I was so excited!!! First plane ride - seats 5D and 5E.....The flight attendants kept commenting on how a good little girl I am. Read my books, played with my bowl and ladle, took a nap, etc... Before we landed, we had some raspberry sorbet. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Waikiki. Went to a nice chinese restaurant for dinner but by then, I got very tired. As a result, at times, I was a little cranky.

Today is Makana's 11 month birthday. To celebrate, the adults bought a chocolate cake. I think it's just an excuse for them to buy the cake.

My fight with Roseola is over. I'm back to my jolly-self. We decided to drive out to San Francisco for some yummy food and to the Marin Headlines for some beautiful views.

Uncle Joseph, Auntie Jo, and Sophia came to visit today. We then went to Kikusushi for a yummy Japanese dinner.

I'm 30.5 inches long and weighs 20 lbs and 15 oz. I haven't gained much weight during the past month due to getting sick alot and scooting everywhere. It's ok....I still have enough baby fat in me.

I'm One Year Old Today! To celebrate, Mommy took me to Taco Bell. The Cinnamon Twists were delicious!
